GST Admission ac bd 2025

The admission tests procedure was decided at a meeting of the vice-chancellors of 19 universities on December 19, 2020 (Saturday). Vice-chancellor of Jagannath University (JU) and Professor Mizanur Rahman, joint convener of the cluster-based GST (General & Science-Technology) admission test program, told this.

The vice-chancellors of the country’s 19 public universities of general and science and technology decided to hold admission tests for 2020-21 academic year in a single cluster or bunch system.

Later, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology decided to come up with this bunch of test methods. As a result, a total of 20 public universities have been added to the cluster system so far.

Authority has been declared GST admission test date and time.

Eligibility for GST Admission Application

Students who have passed HSC equivalent examinations in 2023 and 2024 will be able to take part in this cluster system admission test.

• Science ( C Unit): Applicants must have a minimum total GPA 8.00 in the SSC and HSC or equivalent exams.
• Humanities (A Unit) : Applicants must have a minimum GPA 7.00 in the SSC and HSC or equivalent exams.
• Business ( B Unit) : Applicants must have a minimum total GPA 7.50 in the SSC and HSC or equivalent exams.

Note: If anyone got below GPA 3.50 in any exam, he/she cannot apply.

Candidate Selection Process for GST Admission ac bd

All the candidates who are interested or willing to be admitted even if they have initial qualification will not get the opportunity to participate in the admission test. However, according to the mentioned qualifications, students who wish to be admitted can apply. It will not cost any money separately. However, only the selected candidates can take part in this admission test after application.

A certain number of candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test by screening the selected candidates. Students who will be eligible to take the admission test will be informed. Eligible candidates will then re-apply with a fee of 500/- Taka and these students will be able to take the admission test.

Each university will have a center. Basically, the candidates for the admission test will be selected according to the seating capacity or arrangement of these universities. Students wishing to be admitted will be able to choose the center at their convenience.

However, no one will pass or fail this test. Everyone will get a score on the basis of the test and will be admitted according to this score.

GST Admission ac bd Tests Mark Distribution

The admission test will be based on MCQ (multiple choice questions) of 100 marks. Humanities group will be tested in English, Bangla and ICT (Information and Communication Technology).

Business Education (Commerce) group will be tested in Accounting, Management, Bengali, English and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) marks.

* Any two subjects from ICT, Mathematics and Biology.
